the George IV teapot of compressed circular form with part-fluted lower body, gadrooned rim and finial and pedestal base by Thomas Burwash, 1821; the replacement handle with ivory insulators, Glasgow, 1833; the sugar basin and creamer of similar form with gilt interiors by Richard Martin and Ebenezer Hall, 1877; each crested, and with retailer's mark of Sorley, Glasgow scratch-engraved on undersides, 46 oz.
