The chapter ring with hours and inner alarm disc, the movement with baluster pillars, chain fusee for the going train with verge escapement and plain steel balance with floral pierced and engraved open-footed cock, barrels for strike train and alarm train, pierced and chased calibrated countwheel, strike on bell to base door, the backplate signed 'Martinus Hyllius / Dresda', the inside of the movement cover engraved 'CHRISTIAN RAVLISCH CHVRF SACHS AMBTMAN ZV LEISNICK 1665'

The literal translation of 'Christian Raulisch Churf Sachs Ambtman zu Leisnick 1665' is; Christian Raulisch Official to the Noble court in Leisnick 1665.
Martinus Hyllius (or Martin Hillius) is recorded as the first Dresden small watchmaker, working circa 1677-1697, Master in 1668.
