A GERMAN IRON POLYCHROME DECORATED 'ARMADA' CHEST
17th century
Of usual riveted strapwork form, the exterior with pierced dummy escutcheon to the front and decorated overall with flowers, the underside of the lid with engraved lock shooting nine bolts with an engraved pierced lockplate, the interior enclosing a secondary iron lockable compartment
21 in. (53 cm.) high; 37 in. (94 cm.) wide; 21¼ in. (54 cm.) deep

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
