On circular domed foot, the baluster stem with three scroll brackets and foliage calyx, the body chased with lobes interspaced with flowers on a matted ground, the cover with vase of flowers finial, marked on foot and on body

The town and maker's mark are illustrated in M. Rosenberg, Der Goldschmiede Merkzeichen, vol. III, Frankfurt, 1925, p. 9, nos. 3677 and 3678 where the maker's mark is recorded on a pyx in Nordlingen church.
