Tapering cylindrical and on three ball feet, the detachable slightly domed cover with detachable foliage calyx and ball finial, engraved with a band of scrolling sunflowers and daffodils, the body finely engraved with three oval foliate scroll cartouches with military trophies between, each containing the standing figure of a Roman emperor and with inscription, ' IVBA REX, NERO CAES, OTTO CAES', marked on base and cover
