A GERMAN RAPIER IN EARLY 17TH CENTURY STYLE
19th Century
With long narrow blade of flattened-diamond section, ricasso incised with a linear design, iron swept-hilt of slender bars, the principal elements of octagonal section, faceted oviform pommel, and later wire-bound grip with 'Turk's heads'.
