Cylindrical on high domed spreading base, chased with a band of large water leaves and an upper band of birds, fruits and foliage, the sleeve repouss and chased with figure scenes of Venus and Adonis in landscape, the hinged cover chased with a similar band of fruits, foliage and birds, with detachable crown and ball finial, bifurcated scroll thumbpiece and scroll handle, marked on body and cover
