Oblong with canted corners, the hinged cover engraved with a scene of a man sitting at a table smoking a pipe, a dog begging at his side, within scrolls, foliage and diaperwork, with knurled thumbpiece, the sides with moulded rib and engraved scenes of villages, marked on border
