With a baluster finial above a scrolling handle and spiral shaft, the gilt-bronze frame in the form of two engraved volutes each adorned with a grotesque mask, the steel plate with brackets for attaching a matrix, now lacking, all on a shaped plinth
Minor wear to gilding; very minor restoration
