A gilt bronze figure of a Daoist deity
Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Seated in lalitasana on the back of a nine-headed lion over a lotus base with his right hand raised in vitarkamudra and his left holding a vessel, clad in thick robes tied at the waist, the face with long pendant goatee and serene expression, the hair in neat rows and topped with a foliate knop
