CHINA, QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Seated in dhyanasana on a pedestal with foliate supports, his hands resting in his lap, the robe draped over one shoulder and billowing over the edge of the base at front center, adorned with various foliate jewelry, the face serene with downcast eyes surmounted by a tiara, the hair pulled into a high chignon, fitted with a separate flame-bordered aureole
