RÄTH'S Welthandels-u.Weltverkehrsglobus Herstellung: PAUL RÄTH Werkstätten für Lehrmittel u. Feinmechanik LEIPZIG., made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, with graduated equatorial, Greenwich meridian and equinoctial colure, the oceans with a large maker's cartouche surmounted by a picture of a steamship, German and foreign steamship routes strongly marked in red, the continents with nation states variously shaded and showing towns, cities, rivers, mountains, railways and caravan routes (some discolouration and neat restoration throughout), with a stamped aluminium meridian half-circle, raised on a tall ebonised wood column and stepped circular base -- 146.5cm. (57¾in.) high
