A GREEK GOLD BRACELET
HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 4TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
Formed from a strap coiled spirally, flat on the interior, ridged on the exterior, with two terminals in the form of ram heads with curving ribbed horns, tufts of hair incised on their foreheads, each emerging from a beaded collar with plaited filigree decoration, row of tongues below, and three spear-shaped leaves extending over the hoop
3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) diam.
