A GREEN-OVERLAY CLEAR GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1850
The transparent green overlay is carved through to the transparent ground which appears pink from a skim of red on the interior and which deepens towards the foot of the bottle, with a katydid perched on a lotus leaf on one side, and a lotus flower emerging from a large curled lotus leaf on the other side.
