the English fully marked, comprising a large seashell dish with four shell-form supports, Matthew Boulton, Birmingham 1830; and a pair of smaller seashell dishes with two rocky-form supports, Francis Dexter, London 1840; the American marked 'Sterling', comprising a large Wallace clam-form dish; a pair of Napier seashell-form ashtrays; a set of six Gorham Narragansett-style silver-gilt shell-form salts and three spoons with shell-form bowls and the handles applied with starfish, each with date cypher for 1887; a pair of larger Gorham silver seashell dishes; and a set of five small seashell-form dishes on two ball supports
