A GROUP OF NEAR EASTERN BRONZE VESSELS AND A STAND
MAINLY 2ND-1ST MILLENNIUM B.C. AND LATER
Including a tripod stand, each arched leg terminating in a stylized foot wearing a high boot, 8th-7th Century B.C., 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high; a shallow bowl, the interior finely chased with concentric registers of walking and grazing ibex, another of bulls and a band of interlinked leaves around a central leaping bull, bands of guilloche separating the registers; another bowl similar, with one register of deer above a ring of interlinked leaves, both 7th Century B.C., 6 in. (15.2 cm.) and 6¾ in. (17 cm.) diam. respectively; a shallow silver alloy bowl, 1st millennium B.C., 6 5/8 in. (16.8 cm.) diam.; a tapered kohl flask with narrow everted rim, late 3rd millennium B.C., 3½ in. (9 cm.) high; and a Near Eastern style bronze bowl with frieze of animals around the exterior, after the antique, 5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) diam. (13)
