A group of three French carved coquilla nut snuff flasks
Early 19th century
Comprising; a snuff of hollow oval form, carved with a scene depicting brawling soldiers and a trophy to the reverse, with a boar's head terminal -- 3¼in. (8.3cm.) wide; another with low relief carved medallions one depicting Mercury, with a bugbear terminal -- 2¾in. (7cm.) wide; another depicting a series of figure groups in front of domestic buildings, with a bugbear terminal; and a pommander, pierced overall with scrolling foliage overall -- 3½in. (9cm.) wide
And a yellow metal mounted tortoiseshell and lacquer snuff box, circa 1780, of circular form, the cover with engraved shield bearing a lion passant -- 3½in. (9cm.) diameter; and a Cantonese relief carved horn snuff box, early 19th century, of circular form depicting figures among pagoda's and exotic foliage overall -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) diameter (6)
