A GROUP OF WORCESTER BLUE AND WHITE TEA AND COFFEE WARES
Circa 1770, various crescent and workman's marks
Comprising: a fluted teabowl and two graduated saucers with cell-pattern rims; a teabowl and saucer moulded with a wide band of arabesques within a fretwork and lozenge band; a teabowl and saucer printed with scattered daffodils; a fluted teacup and saucer printed in the Chantilly style à la brindille; a coffee-cup and saucer painted with flowering branches; a coffee-cup and saucer printed in the 'Mansfield' pattern; a Chinoiserie coffee-cup painted with a house and stylized trees; a Chinoiserie saucer painted overall with islets; a fluted saucer printed with flowering plants issuing from rockwork within a diaper-pattern rim; a small teabowl printed with the 'Fisherman' pattern; a large teabowl printed with the 'Fence' pattern; a cream-jug with a variant version of this pattern, a fluted milk-jug and scalloped saucer printed in the Chantilly style with carnations; and a mug printed with sunflowers and roses; together with two Caughley blue and white saucers, one printed in the 'Fisherman' pattern, the other in the 'Three Flowers' pattern; a tureen stand printed in the pinecone pattern, the scalloped border with flowering branches, 8¾in. (22.4cm.) diam.; a shallow scalloped bowl and an ozier-moulded plate painted in the Chantilly style with carnations, 7½in. (19.1cm.) and 10in. (25.4cm.) diam.; a Chantilly blue and white saucer and lobed oval dish painted à la brindille; and a Cozzi teabowl gilt with sprigs beneath a blue band (29)
