Made in U.S.A., U.S. Navy-Bu. Ships 1942, lever escapement, uncut bi-axial thermal expansion balance wheel, Elinvar-Extra flat balance spring with Breguet overcoil, index arm with cam adjustment, brass counter-weighted bowl inscribed MTD WATCH BUREAU OF SHIPS, U.S. NAVY, (N) 36-1941, gimballed in plain three-tier mahogany box with maker's label to front of bottom section -- 6in.
