Provenance
According to the vendor, after the Trade Fair in Moscow, the layout spent some years in display in the Toy Department in Harrods; it was then purchased by the daughter of the Toy Department Manager. It remained in her ownership for eighteen years and was then purchased by an enthusiast who retained it for a further fifteen years. It was then purchased by a collector through long-standing personal contact with the enthusiast's family.
