The caparisoned elephant modelled standing four-square with its head turned slightly to one side, its body adorned with hanging pendants and an elaborate saddle, supporting a vase with three ram's-head handles suspending loose rings, the cover with a dragon finial and attached to the coiled trunk with a chain; and a pair of small pierced wood table screens each inset with two jade plaques, carved with various figures, animals and characters
