A JADEITE CARVING
Designed as a finely carved wooden gate, suspending a hollow pebble-shaped jadeite of pale celadon ground suffused with intense honey yellow colour and good translucency, well carved and pierced with a Chinese character 'Fu', surrounded by scrolls and coins, representing the rebus 'luck before your eyes', the back carved with 'Lu', surmounted and terminated by a honey yellow jadeite bead, to the white jadeite bead and green tassels, carving with wooden stand approximately 52.0 x 26.0 x 7.5 cm
Accompanied by report no. KJ58162 dated 2 March 2011 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
