composed of feather-shaped panels made from bark of the Lagetta Lintearia tree, fruit of the Mountain Cabbage tree, the Spatha and trimmed with ferns, with tortoiseshell sticks, circa 1880; another, less elaborate; a novelty cigar fan enclosing a cockade fan; three Javanese handscreens; a fan, the satin leaf painted with the portrait of a girl wearing a wreath of ivy, a house, fruit and monogram HAC, the verso with a bird and wildflowers, thought to be Australian, with bone sticks --17 in. (43.18cm), circa 1885; and nine other fans (16)
