A Japanese bronze group
modelled as two ferocious tigers attacking a striding elephant, one tiger clambering on the elephants back, the other lying beneath its foot, the elephant with its tail curled around its haunches and trunk raised, with ivory tusks -- 11in. (29.8cm.) long, signed, 19th Century, (minor old wear).
