A Japanese gold, black and green lacquer table cabinet comprising one large and three small drawers with ivory handles modelled as birds decorated in hiramakie and togidashi with fir and other flowers beside a riverbank, two hinged central doors with silvered decoration simulating Mount Fuji and another door to the side with calligraphy, the sides decorated with a spider beside a simulated crack and a window, the interior of scattered nashiji (later silver decoration, small chips and cracks) -- 8½.in.high, signed, wood stand.
