A JAPANESE IVORY KODANSU [TABLE CABINET]
MEIJI PERIOD (LATE 19TH CENTURY)
The two doored ivory cabinet on lacquered wood base decorated in gold, silver, black and red hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and kirigane opening to reveal fifteen small ivory drawers decorated with birds and flowers, the lacquer base with further drawers, engraved copper fittings
