A JAPANESE LAC BURGAUTÉ BUTTERFLY-FORM SNUFF BOTTLE
TSUDA FAMILY, KYOTO, 1910-1940
The metal body bottle is delicately lacquered and inlaid throughout in multiple metals and shell with floral and geometric motifs, further decorated with incised designs. The narrow sides are similarly decorated with geometric designs.
