Compare No 84, Inventaire des Collections Publiques Franaises, Paris, Moblier National (Soieries Empire), woven by Camille Pernon, Lyon, for the Petit Salon of Josephine Bonaparte at the St. Cloud Palace. That silk was ordered in 1802 by General Duroc and was supplied in May 1804, at the cost 16 Francs per metre.
