A Kashan deep flaring pottery bowl
12th century
painted to the interior in blue pigments with scrolling foliate panels interspersed with bands of stylised calligraphy, the glaze falling short of the foot to the exterior -- 8 1/8in. (20.5cms) diam, (broken and repaired).
