The first circular decorated on the interior with eggplants rendered in inlaid horn, a cricket on a gourd inlaid in soft-metal, and a wasp and vines in gold and brown lacquer raised in relief, the surface of the interior lacquered to resemble a rough stone surface; the second circular designed with sake gourds in red, ochre and gold raised lacquer, one gourd in a net storage bag embellished with mother-of-pearl, the surrounding area and interior glossy black lacquer; the third square with rounded corners designed with various Kyogen masks and young bamboo in gold, silver, red and black lacquer against a mura-nashiji and black-lacquer ground, interior nashiji and rims pewter
