a printed fan, the leaf a hand-coloured etching, inscribed '61', the reserves stencilled with still lives of fruit, the ivory sticks pierced and painted with music, the guardsticks of straw-work, the straw stained green and brown and worked with chinoiserie figures in a gazebo,--10.5in. (26cm.), French, the sticks possibly German, circa 1785 (guardsticks repaired)
