Ovoid, decorated with five reserves depicting the Nativity, Mother of God Orans, Archangels and Mother of God Enthroned, within gilt cartouches, the upper and lower parts of the egg decorated with fine gold foliage on matt silver ground, with red lozenges simulating rubies, probably after a design by O. Chirikov, apparently unmarked
