with widely flaring rim, moulded mask handles and stepped foot, decorated in relief with panels of a tiger amongst bamboo, a karashishi beside peonies, a peacock on a fruiting branch and butterflies and birds surrounded by blossoming trees and shrubs, all on a ground of scrolling foliage and above minogame amongst waves and rockwork -- 21in. (54cm.) high, 19th Century.
