Of architectural outshape, surmounted by a coat-of-arms, centred by regal portraits, surrounded by historical scenes, each in a scrolling foliate frame with grotesque masks;

These miniatures depict:
- Le Roi chasse, after Van Dyck;
- Mary Queen of Scots;
- George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham;
- King James I;
- The landing of Charles II;
- Cromwell dissolving Long Parliament;
- King Charles II conquered at Naseby;
- Charles I's three children.
