A LARGE WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE BOWL
CIRCA 8TH-6TH CENTURY B.C.
The interior with relief frieze showing two hunters, each wearing knobbed helmets, crouching on one knee before a lion and human-headed winged lion, a second lion attacked from either side by bulls, floral plants within the field, the central tondo with concentric rosette motifs with guilloche band above
13¼ in. (33.7 cm.) diam.

Formerly in a European collection, acquired circa 1980.
