A LARGE ZSOLNAY PÉCS COBALT-BLUE GROUND DOUBLE-WALLED FLOOR VASE
Circa 1890, green five church-steeples and initial JJM mark, impressed uppercase mark, 3915 and 36/14
In the Moorish taste, of baluster form, the everted mouth moulded and enriched with harebells, the neck with four large shells below reticulated scrolls, flanked by elaborately pierced upright scroll handles, painted with a loose bouquet of chrysanthemums enriched in gold on a resist cobalt-blue ground, above fenestrated rocaille-moulded panels, on a flute and shell-moulded foot
