ATTRIBUTED TO JEAN MATHIEU CHEVALLIER, MID 18TH CENTURY
Decorated all-over with panels of floral sprays and geometric banding, the moulded rouge de Rance marble top above a frieze drawer and fall-front fitted with a gilt-tooled green leather writing surface, four compartments and six short drawers, above two cupboard doors, on short cabriole legs, inscribed in chalk 'MCKINLEY', previously further mounted
