shaped oval with fluted scalloped border, the sides pierced in panels of alternating stylized laurel garlands and latticework, with chased and embossed detail of shells, beading and foliage, the centre a vacant oval cartouche with pierced border, on foliate scroll openwork supports, by Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1897, 28.5cm width, 12.5oz.
