A late Victorian six-piece tea and coffee service
of moulded oval form and with foliate-pierced and engraved moulded everted rims and elaborate beaded foliate-decorated scroll handles, each engraved with stylised flowers, foliage and strapwork, a crest with motto and a monogram, comprising: a tea kettle with fixed handle and domed hinged cover with pointed foliate finial, on an oval warming stand with burner - 14¾in. (37.50cm.) overall, a teapot and coffee pot with pointed foliate finials, a gilt-lined sugar basin, a gilt-lined milk jug and a gilt-lined cream jug, Elkington & Co., London 1895 and 1896 - 150oz.
