In the form of a book, the covers with the inscription The·Gift·Is·Small/Good·will·Is·all above the date 16·93 to both sides, within a border of lozenge-ornament, the reverse with a similar inscription, the moulded spine painted with stylised insects, the page edges painted with fine lines reserved on a pale green ground, pierced with an aperture to one lower corner (broken and restored with associated over-painting, some glaze chipping to rims)
