The deep sides applied on the interior with two boys holding lotus stems separated by applied stems of lotus leaves, a lotus pod and water weed, all reserved against an incised ground of waves below the everted, petal-molded rim, the exterior carved with a band of overlapping, upright leaves between a key-pattern border above and another narrower border on the shallow ring foot below, covered inside and out with a glaze of sea-green tone continuing over the foot, the unglazed base burnt orange in the firing around a small glazed, recessed medallion
