With an oval body above a waisted socle and marble and white-painted pedestal
52 in. (132 cm.) high, 24 ½ in. (60 cm.) wide, 14 ½ in. (37 cm.) deep, overall
Provenance
Acquired as one of a pair by Mrs. Charles Wrightsman from a dealer in Versailles, and reputedly originally from the château de Versailles.
Installed in the entrance hall of her residence Blythedunes, Palm Beach.
A gift from Mrs. Charles Wrightsman to the present owner.
