A LOUIS XV ENAMELLED GOLD SNUFF-BOX BY CHARLES-BARNABÉ SAGERET (FL. 1752-1792), MARKED, PARIS, 1764/1765, WITH THE CHARGE MARK OF JEAN-JACQUES PRÉVOST 1762-1768 AND THE PETITE VACHE DECHARGE MARK FOR EXPORT 1733-1775 rectangular box, the cover, sides and base set with panels of translucent blue enamel over chased foliage and trophies, within entrelac gold borders set with roundels and foliage, the cover centred with an oval cartouche with an applied chased openwork floral spray, the interior of the cover engraved 'From H.B. Mildmay Sept. 20' 1 7/8 in. (50 mm.) wide
