The serpentine brèche d'Alep marble top above a bombé shaped door with scrolling acanthus surround, the interior with three adjustable shelves, above a lower drawer centred by a scrolling foliate mount, the bombé sides with similar surround, each angle headed by a scrolling acanthus clasp, on scroll feet with acanthus-cast sabots; the ormolu signed and dated henry Dasson/1884, the carcass stamped to the back HENRY DASSON/1884
