A Louis XVI style ormolu and cobalt-blue glass centrepiece
By Lopienski Brothers, Warsaw, Last quarter 19th Century
The circular dish surrounded by a beaded rim applied with two pairs of flying putti, the reverse of each pair stamped LOPIENSKY/WARSZAWA, the sides with crossed ribbon-tied quivers, each joined by a berried swag, on a circular base with toupie feet

Lot Essay
The Lopienski firm was founded in Warsaw in 1862 by brother Jan Lopiensky. They exhibited at various 19th century exhibitions and are still in business today.
