Of lyre form, the top draped with a floral festoon above urn finials, the case with acanthus, oak and acorn crest, the enamelled dial indistinctly signed, with twin-train movement by S. Marti, flanked by a pair of scrolled acanthus supports each terminating in a cockerel head, on spreading stem applied with acanthus and laurel pendants, on oval base with projecting square feet
