the breakarch hood with pierced soundfrets to the sides (damaged), rectangular trunk door, line inlay to the sides, on skirted plinth, the brass dial signed on the chapter ring W.m Kent Lynton, cherub mask and foliate scroll spandrels, the matted centre with ringed winding holes and date aperture, a flowerhead boss within dolphin spandrels to the arch, the four pillar countwheel striking movement with anchor escapement and falseplate stamped WALKER; case and movement associated, movement late 18th century, case adapted -- 80½in. (205cm.) high
