Each with a square base with scroll and shell corners, with a knopped stem and a spool-shaped socket, with a conforming detachable nozzle, engraved with the same crest, each marked underneath and on socket, that of William Cafe marked additionally on detachable nozzle

Lot Essay

William Cafe began working with his brother John Cafe circa 1742 and entered as largeworker upon John's death in 1757. These appear to be cast from the same model.
