CIRCA 1750-55, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK AND GILDER'S 49. TO BOTH, PRESSNUMMER 63 TO SAUCER
Painted with the coat-of-arms of an unidentified family and Da Ponte on a shield surmounted by puce scrolling foliage and above tied palm branches and with scattered flower-sprays, the gilt borders with scroll and line ornament (slight flaking to blue enamel on saucer, slight wear to enamels on saucer and gilding on both pieces)
