A Meissen Kakiemon teabowl, another teabowl and a saucer
18th century, blue crossed swords marks
The first teabowl painted with quails below chrysanthemum, the interior with a band of scrolling leaves reserved with flower-heads, the other saucer painted with chinoiserie scenes of figures in conversation and a fisherman, within gilt scroll panels enclosing Böttger lustre sections, issuing iron-red and purple scrolls (slight rubbing), the saucer with hausmaler decoration of three mounted soldiers, the underside moulded with a band of stiff leaves (gilding re-touched) (3)
